On May 22, 2010, a programmer named Laszlo Hanyecz bought two pizzas by paying 10,000 Bitcoin. That’s why we are celebrating Bitcoin Pizza Day every May 22. :-)

How much is that worth in today in pounds/dollars?

About 82.5 million USD. :-)
That is an expensive pizza then
If they kept it until now they could probably sell the pizza place and do something else. If they didn’t keep it, it must have been the worst business decision they have made. :-)
How expensive! I imagine quite a few pizzas would be bought with them today, but of course for a fraction of the price!
I hope Laszlo Hanyecz kept a couple of Bitcoins for himself.
