Brit + Co founder wants more women to own cryptos

Or, at the very least, they want women to know more about crypto currencies so they can make an active decision on whether to invest or not. Only 30 percent of Bitcoin investors are women.

To contribute to this Brit + Co founder, Brit Morin, hosted an event for 500 women and some men in San Francisco recently.

“Morin’s event was a marked effort at making cryptocurrency approachable to women who might otherwise hesitate to join the crypto craze. People looking to learn more about digital currencies have plenty of resources — from Reddit forums to Meetups — but many have complained of a misogynistic culture in certain digital currency social circles.”
